Fabric inspection is done by using human eye, when fabric is moving through the fabric inspection machine shown in figure 2 but it is not applicable of long periods. Most of fabric inspection machines not include machine vision systems to achieve inspection requirements. If there is any system to inspect the fabric continuously it makes more valuable the inspection machines.

For that propose this system is design for inspect the fabric width continuously with time before further manufacturing process. This system continuously measures the fabric width by using machine vision algorithm with stereo vision as shown in figure 3. If their is any discontinuous in fabric system generates alarm to the user.

The user interface shows the all the parameter of the moving fabric and shows both ends of the fabric in two frames as shown in figure 4.
